Der krumme Balken in dem Schuppen den man erst auf den zweiten Blick sieht. Ich sah das kurz nachdem ich losgelaufen bin. Fast wäre mir das nicht aufgefallen und so musste ich dann nochmal ein paar Schritte zurückgegangen um nochmal richtig anschauen.
Es entstand ein Bild das mich den heutigen Weg begleitet hat.
Dieser krumme Balken ist da wunderbar eingebaut wurde. Ein krummer Balken, mach einer hätte den einfach weggeworfen oder vielleicht Brennholz draus gemacht. Doch dieser Baumeister hat dieses, in vielen Augen wertlose Stück Holz, integriert, gleichwertig mit viel anderen normgerechten Balken hat er nun seinen Platz gefunden.
Man weiß nicht die Lebensgeschichte des Baumes und auch nicht was Ihn so krumm werden lies. Aber welche Lebensgeschichte ist schon ganz gradlinig, ich denke da an Flüchtlingsschicksale, Menschen die auf die schiefe Bahn gekommen sind, aber auch bis hoch in die High Society gibt es genug Menschen derer Lebenslinie machmal ziemliche Windungen zeigt. So wie der Baumeister den krummen, nicht normgerechten Balken integriert, so sollten wir unsere Mitmenschen annehmen, ganz egal wo Sie herkommen! Mich erinnert dieser krumme Balken ein bisschen an die Geschichte vom verloren Sohn.
Von Aubiet war ich nach ca. 5km in Lussan zurück auf dem Camino. Die hier sind hier ganz anders wie wir das kennen. Dann folgte ein Weg in den drei gestern vorgestellten Kategorien, aber immer durch schöne hügelige Landschaft.
Vorbei an Montégut war um Fünf auch bald Auch erreicht. Leider öffnet die Gite de Presbyrére erst ab 10. April. Alternative war das Hotel de France wo ich den Luxus einer Badewanne genießen durfte.
Ich hab auch noch die Cathétrale Sainte-Marie von Auch besichtigt. Mega groß, ein beeindruckender Raum und eine Art Separe im Chor mit geschnitzten Stühlen aus Eichenholz.
The crooked beam in the shed that you only notice at second glance. I saw it shortly after I set off. I almost didn't notice it and so I had to take a few steps back to take a proper look.
The image that came to mind was one that has accompanied me on my journey today.
This crooked beam was wonderfully installed. A crooked beam, some people would have simply thrown it away or perhaps made firewood out of it. But this builder integrated this piece of wood, which many people consider worthless, and it has now found its place on an equal footing with many other standard beams.
We don't know the life story of the tree or what made it so crooked. But what life story is really straight forward? I'm thinking of the fate of refugees, people who have gone astray, but even up to high society there are enough people whose life path sometimes shows quite a few twists and turns. Just as the builder integrates the crooked, non-standard beam, we should accept our fellow human beings, no matter where they come from! This crooked beam reminds me a little of the story of the prodigal son.
After about 5km from Aubiet I was back on the Camino in Lussan. The ones here are completely different to what we are used to. Then there was a route in the three categories presented yesterday, but always through beautiful hilly landscape.
Passing Montégut, I soon reached Auch at five. Unfortunately, the Gite de Presbyrére does not open until April 10th. The alternative was the Hotel de France, where I was able to enjoy the luxury of a bathtub.
I also visited the Cathétrale Sainte-Marie in Auch. It was huge, an impressive room and a kind of private room in the choir with carved oak chairs.
