Gut angekommen in der Herberge und etwas erschöpft nach 32km. Das Zimmer teile ich mit Sicilia und Yves. Diese italienische, französische und deutsche Kombination muss erst mal essen gehen.
Die Kirche aus dem 12Jahrhundert In Lacomande ist sehenswert. Schlicht aber doch schön. Bemerkenswert sind die hintersten Kirchenbänke. Diese sind sehr viel kleiner. Ob Kinder hier sitzen mussten?
Osito, der kleine Bär schloss heute neue Freundschaften, einmal mit Kühen und mit einem Huhn. An dem Pausenplatz für Pilger lauerte dieses Huhn uns richtiggehend auf in der Hoffnung vom Pausenbrot auch was abzubekommen!
Bei Kilometer 250 sagen wir TE Connectivity herzlichen Dank für die bisherige Kilometerpatenschaft. Dies wechselt zu Elvira und Clemens Schnell. Auch hier ein herzliches Dankeschön!
Arrived safely at the hostel and a little exhausted after 32km. I share the room with Sicilia and Yves. This Italian, French and German combination needs to go out to eat first.
What else happened today?
As today was a pretty long stage, we set off at seven. First by bus to Lescars, out of the urban jungle of Pau. We had breakfast in a small shop in Artiguelouvre.
The 12th century church in Lacomande is worth seeing. Simple but beautiful. The pews at the back are remarkable. These are much smaller. Did children have to sit here?
Osito, the little bear, made new friends today, once with cows and once with a chicken. At the rest area for pilgrims, this chicken was literally lying in wait for us in the hope of getting some of the snacks!
At kilometer 250 we say a big thank you to TE Connectivity for the kilometer sponsorship so far. This changes to Elvira and Clemens Schnell. Here too, a big thank you!
